Looking at a Print of Scarborough

This poem, published by Every Day Poets, was written as a response to a 1931 painting of Scarborough, UK, by local artist Edward Bawden. Threatened by decay, it was restored and now hangs in Scarborough Library and is called locally “The Bawden Map".
